Signups for RTF 2009 below. Please list your name, the program, and a preffered time.
Tommo - Braziliance! / Garage-Rock 101 / 2008 - The Good Stuff. All 1-2 hrs, Sat or Sun late mornings/afternoons.
Tom L. - Audio Tribute to J.G. Ballard. Coloured musical trees performing surgery with power tools under the direction of men in labcoats. Spoken word excerpts from Ballard and others. Time: evening / middle of night.
Nicholas - Late-night-but-not-too-late-night talk-show. Say 11pm-ish. Don't want to be on when there is stuff on, but don't want it to be too late either.
Nicholas (again) - I am thinking of running some collaborative erotica thing on RFT. As in people sit around in a circle and take turns coming up with next sentence or paragraph. Like those stories you write in primary school where you fold the paper after each bit, and then unfold it to see how it all adds together. Could possibly be pseudo-roleplay.
Liam: so far no clashes with those, though I think I heard more people say stuff about stuff they wanted to do. am currently studying for exams thinking about what i could do on RFT. Nic's collaborative idea sounds like alot of fun. Was thinking people who know things about things might have conversations with others who know things about them, panel-like? I would be happy to/enjoy discussing (and displaying my lack of knowledge of) philosophy, or discussing sci fi novels and movies (to some extent) or games with people, if anyone is interested.
Amber - Time: sometime possibly during in the day, I'm not really fussed. I think it will take around 1 hr. The general idea is songs which have a strong science fiction influence, but aren't actually radio plays or the like (e.g. War of the Worlds).
KatGledhill - I would very much like to be in charge of running a Hitchhikers program through the very very late hours and early hours of either Friday night or Saturday night. Duration will depend on how many audiobooks we go through.
