Bernard Langham was an active member of UniSFA and UCC for a very long time. He began a medicine degree, but completed law and arts degrees after close to a decade as a UWA student (much of which was spent pursueing unrelated computer projects in the UCC).
Bernard's eccentric speech patterns were a major element of UCCSpeak. He was also a very active volunteer at 6RTR (formerly 6UVS) radio, and passionate (and rather judgemental) about music.
He was editor (with JeremyGByrne) of some classic issues of Piffle, and was involved with the ill-fated Magic computer game venture. He is also an author of UCC the text adventure game. Returned briefly to the UCC in the early noughties while studying for a computer science diploma. On his return to the UCC he began installing Amiga emulators on all the PC hardware, giving the disturbing impression that his touch could reverse time.
