DaveCake is married to KarenMcKenna. Karen makes sure that Dave eats regularly. Together Karen and Dave make a good team, fighting crime, and saving the world, one person at a time. Which is why they got married.
Dave was President in 1990.
Dave has been heavily involved with SF communities in Australia for many years, both via Swancon committees (chair of 2001) and WASFF, and national stuff like running the Ditmars. He is a resident of FlorenceRoad.
DaveCake also participated in the AustralianLaborParty, after graduating from Guild politics. Now, his political activities are mostly via Electronic Frontiers Australia (became chair in 2011) and similar organisations.
Dave still runs the UniSFA MailingList, though it sees a lot less use than previously.
Dave was made a LifeMember for services to the club in 2005.
