Gina was an active member of UniSFA both as an undergrad, and when she returned to UWA for a Masters degree.
Gina was responsible for warping young minds and has steered a number of high school students towards SF fandom in her time as an English teacher. Her warm and welcoming nature towards new fans was acknowledged when WASFF awarded her the Marg Hughes ("mumfan") Award.
