A picnic to celebrate Frodo's birthday on the 22nd of September. Generally held on the closest Sunday in Kings Park. Everyone brings a plate and sometimes there is a competition to see who has the hairiest feet.
In the early years of the club this event traditionally involved the ponding (ie throwing into a pond) of the President. During the reign of GinaGoddard an alternative arrangement of tying to a tree, and taunting with a kipper was employed. The custom fell out of use sometime around the late 80s.
