This is the Terracon packing checklist,

Essential

• Food for:
  • Three breakfasts {Sat Sun Mon}
  • Two lunches {Sat Sun}
  • One dinner {Sat - Fri Sun are provided}
  • Snacks
• Clothes (The weather may be wet and muddy, include extra changes)
• Wet weather gear - raincoat, umbrella etc
• Shoes. People HAVE forgotten shoes before.
• Bedding
  • Pillow cases
  • Blankets
  • Sleeping bag
• Toiletries
• Bath towels (More than one, as they won't dry very quickly)
• Tea towels (As many as possible - they won't dry very quickly) (hang them near the fire to dry them quickly)
• Torch (Not a whole lot of lighting + spotlight)
• Sense of adventure!
• RADIO for Radio Free Terracon!

Optional

• Hot water bottle (It's going to get cold)
• Alcohol (Remember we're hours away from any hospitals, please drink responsibly)
• Condoms (go well with [effects of] alcohol, perhaps?)
• Chocolate and other junkfood
• Fire lighting gear:
  • Matches
  • Firelighters
  • Old newspapers
  • Firewood (if possible)
• Entertainment:
  • Books
  • Board games
  • Cards
  • Music - Especially for RFT (MP3s or Audio CDs)
• Camera
• LARP weapons if you've got any. Some will be supplied.
• NERF weapons if you have any!
• An iron stomach
• Your favourite cooking utensils (Only the bare minimum are provided)
• Basic mechanical necessities
  • Jumper leads
  • Tool kit
  • Spare tire
  • Tarp
  • Oil
  • Working Car
• Sporting equipment (Basketball, Tennis, Cricket, Footy)

We would like to remind you that Terracon is a drug free event.

N.B. For Terracon 2012: A Con of Ice and Fire. This year's Sunday dinner will be a medieval themed feast. As such, please feel free to bring any accoutrements that you think will add to the spirit of the event. These can include, but are not limited to: Steins, tankards, flagons, Medieval alcoholic beverages (Mead, cider etc), any food not on the menu that is consistent with the theme, cornucopias, Horned helmets, clothing consistent with 'A song of Ice and Fire', Armour, musical instruments, candles and candle holders. Please do not bring any weapons, or weapon replicas that are not made of foam.
