Wonkavision refered to the 82cm TV and related audiovisual equipment UniSFA won from a Chocolate competition run by FAL. An entry in to the competition took 2 cartons of chocolate. After several dozen entries, it was hardly surpising that UniSFA won.
As of 2012 UniSFA has a fancy new flat screen led TV. Thus far a suitable name has not been proposed.
Concerns had initially been expressed regarding the cultural effects of television on the clubroom users. Currently the TV is not allowed to be used during semester until after 4pm.
